Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
This policy explains what New Site Radar ("we"), operated by TENSO LLC (Colorado, USA), collects about you and why. You can browse the site without an account; most of what follows only applies once you sign in.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you sign in or join the Pro waitlist (details in the two sections below).
- Your watchlist — the sites you choose to follow — and when you added them.
- Subscription status, if you pay for Pro: your plan, whether the subscription is active, when the current period ends, and the customer and subscription IDs Stripe gives us. Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and never reach our servers.
- A session cookie that keeps you signed in. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
Anonymous visit statistics. We run our own simple visit counter instead of a third-party analytics service: when you load a page or click certain buttons (for example the pricing or upgrade buttons), your browser sends us the event name, the page path (without query string), the site that referred you (domain only), any ref or utm_* tag in the link you arrived from, your browser's user-agent string and your country as reported by our host. These events are linked by a random ID kept in your browser tab's session storage (not a cookie), which is discarded when you close the tab. They contain no name, email address, account ID or IP address, and are not shared with anyone. If you start a checkout, the referring source and that random session ID are attached to your Stripe order, and the source is saved with your subscription, so we know which channels bring paying customers. If you join the Pro waitlist, the same kind of anonymous event records that a sign-up happened (with the plan you picked and the referring source) — never your email address.
We don't use advertising trackers. Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect the service from abuse.
Account sign-in
Sign-in is handled by Neon Auth, a sign-in service run by our database provider, Neon. You enter your email address and Neon Auth emails you a one-time code from login@newsiteradar.com, delivered through our email provider AhaSend (it receives only your email address and the message). Neon Auth keeps its records inside our Neon database:
- your email address, the time your account was created and last updated;
- the one-time code, stored only as a hash, until it is used or expires;
- a session record for each sign-in — the session cookie's token, when it was created and expires, and the IP address and browser user agent of the sign-in. A session expires after 7 days unless it is refreshed by continued use; signing out ends it.
In our own tables we store your account's ID and email address, your watchlist, your subscription status if you pay, and — if you create API keys — each key's name, its first characters, a hash of the key (never the key itself), and when it was created and last used.
Deleting your account: email hello@newsiteradar.com from the address you sign in with and ask us to delete it. We do it within 30 days and confirm by email: your account, email address, sign-in sessions, watchlist and API keys are deleted. Stripe keeps payment records as required by law.
Pro waitlist
While Pro payments are not yet open, you can join a waitlist. We collect your email address (typed in, or the address of your account if you are signed in), the plan you're interested in (monthly or annual), where you came from (the same first-touch source token as above, such as a referring site or a ref tag) and when you joined.
- Use: only to email you once, when Pro opens. Nothing else — no newsletter, no other marketing.
- Unsubscribe anytime: use the one-click link shown when you join, or email hello@newsiteradar.com. Unsubscribing deletes your email address from the list at once; we keep only the plan choice and source, with no way to link them to you.
- No sharing: we don't sell the list or give it to anyone else.
- Retention: entries that haven't become a subscription are deleted within 90 days after the "Pro is open" email is sent. If we decide not to launch Pro, we delete the whole list.
How we use it
- To sign you in and show you your watchlist.
- To email you once when Pro opens, if you joined the waitlist.
- To know whether your account has Pro access.
- To reply when you email us, and to send account or billing messages. We don't send marketing email without asking.
We don't sell your personal data or share it with advertisers.
Who processes it for us
- Vercel — hosts the website.
- Neon — our database (including the Pro waitlist), and Neon Auth, the sign-in service that issues your one-time code.
- AhaSend — delivers the sign-in code email (your email address and the message only).
- Stripe — payments, receipts and invoices, if you subscribe.
- DuckDuckGo — site icons in our tables are loaded from its public icon service, so your browser requests them directly from DuckDuckGo (without a referrer).
Data about the sites we track
Our rankings are about websites, not people: domain registration dates, public traffic estimates from data providers and what each site publishes on its own pages. Site owners can ask for their site to be removed at hello@newsiteradar.com.
Retention and your choices
We keep your account data while your account exists. Email hello@newsiteradar.com from your account address to get a copy of your data or to delete your account (see Account sign-in); we then delete your email, sessions, watchlist and API keys within 30 days. Stripe keeps payment records as required by law. Pro waitlist entries follow the rules in Pro waitlist.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above; material changes will be announced on the site.
