New Site Radar vs Semrush
Disclosure: we build New Site Radar. Everything below about Semrush comes from its public pages as we read them on October 2, 2026 (sources at the bottom). Products change; if something here is out of date, email hello@newsiteradar.com and we will fix it.
Semrush is an SEO and AI-search visibility platform, with a separate Traffic & Market toolkit for competitor traffic. New Site Radar has a narrower job: monthly rankings of AI tool websites registered in 2025 or later that are gaining traffic, with each traffic figure compared against a second source.

When Semrush is the better fit
- You need keyword tracking and site monitoring for your own website (500 to 5,000 tracked keywords depending on plan).
- You want SEO and AI-search visibility data for any website, including established ones.
When New Site Radar is the better fit
- You want AI tool sites that launched recently and are starting to grow, before they are well known.
- You want to know how far to trust each number: every figure is checked against a second source where one exists, and the evidence is on the site page (see the methodology).
- You want to query the data from Claude Code, Cursor or Codex over MCP.
Try it: the growth rankings have a free monthly sample, and Pro shows the full board.
